Pastoral Care
Eden United Methodist Church is a caring community. As members of the family of God, we are here to help one another in need; to fellowship with one another in and out of the confines of the church.

Children's Ministry
Nursery (age 4 and under)
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Nursery is available each Sunday during church. They can play under the supervision of an adult and a helper. The nursery is located just down the hall from the Sanctuary.
Children are not discouraged from attending church with their parents. Periodically there is a children's message during the service.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School meets in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday at 9:30 am September through June for a time of songs, prayer and Bible verses. At 9:45 am the students move to their Sunday School rooms in the Education Wing of the building. Teachers work hard to make learning fun by having a hands-on activity periodically which the children enjoy very much.
Classes for children are:
Newborn through Kindergarten in the Nursery
Grades 1&2 meet in classroom #4
Grades 3&4 meet in classroom #1
Grades 5&6 meet in classroom #3

Vacation Bible School
An exciting week of Bible stores, songs, crafts, and recreation for ages 3 through 6th grade. The children will go home singing praises to God! Our VBS is Monday-Friday for one week during the summer. Please contact the church office for more information.
Acolyte Program
Older elementary children are invited to participate in the acolyte program, including lighting and extinguishing the altar candles and helping with the offering during worship services.

Jammers for Jesus
Our Puppet ministry performs periodically throughout the year. You can find them presenting the gospel during worship or Sunday School openings. We have so many gifted children and teenagers who are dedicated to this ministry. If you would like more information about this ministry, please contact the church office.
Joyful Noise Choir
This is our Children's Choir and they sing periodically throughout the year during our worship service. What a joy to see and hear our little children sing praises to our Lord. Rehearsals for the choir are on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30 pm September-May. For more information, please call the church office.
